Magnesium Doped Lithium Niobate MgO:LiNbO3
MgO:LiNbO3 crystal is a LiNbO3 crystal doped with magnesium.
It offers superior performance over conventional LiNbO3 crystals in Noncritical Phase Matching (NCPM) Second Harmonic Generation (SHG), mixing (SFG), and Optical Parametric Oscillators (OPOs) for Nd: lasers.
This crystal has achieved outstanding SHG efficiencies of up to 65% with pulsed Nd:YAG lasers and 45% with continuous wave Nd:YAG lasers.
Furthermore, it is capable of a wide range of applications, including Optical Parametric Oscillators (OPOs), Amplifiers (OPAs), Quasi Phase Matching Doublers, integrated waveguides, and more.
