KTA Non-linear (NLO) Crystal

Potassium Titanyle Arsenate (KTiOAsO4, KTA)
KTA crystal (Potassium Titanyl Arsenate, KTiOAsO4) is a high-performance nonlinear optical (NLO) crystal, widely used for laser wavelength conversion and as an optical component.

Main Uses

Optical Parametric Oscillation (OPO) and Optical Parametric Amplification (OPA)
Particularly suitable for wavelength conversion in the mid-infrared region, utilized for generating infrared light sources in the 3-5 µm range.
Second Harmonic Generation (SHG) and Sum Frequency Generation (SFG)
Used for wavelength conversion of solid-state lasers (such as Nd:YAG), helpful in generating green and infrared light.
Difference Frequency Generation (DFG)
Generation of light sources in the crucial mid-infrared wavelength range for communication and spectroscopic analysis.
Medical and Industrial Applications
