TSAG Terbium Scandium Aluminum Garnet

TSAG single crystal is a material with excellent magneto-optical properties and is used in optical isolators for fiber lasers. It is compatible with the visible to near-infrared wavelength range (400–1600 nm) and combines a high Verdet constant with exceptional thermal and mechanical properties, making it a promising magneto-optical material for next-generation high-power lasers.
Compared to TGG crystals, TSAG offers a higher Verdet constant and lower absorption loss, enabling the miniaturization of optical isolators. It is particularly ideal as a magneto-optical material for high-power applications.
