Rutile Prism
Birefringence: The light passing through the rutile prism separates into ordinary light and extraordinary light.
The polarization state of the extraordinary light is orthogonal to that of the ordinary light.
Please use for prisms utilizing high refractive index and birefringent polarizers.
Rutile has excellent heat resistance and corrosion resistance.
